Here is a link to an article by the Daily Camera about Transition Boulder.
And here’s one to a short video by CBS-4 in Denver: “Transition Movement Helps Local Economy.”

Transition is a worldwide grassroots movement, that began in the UK in 2005 and has now grown to over 250 “official” initiatives worldwide, including 48 in the United States.
Transition is a positive community response to peak oil, climate change, and economic crisis that seeks to “unleash the collective genius” to respond to these monumental challenges.
And Transition is a 12-step process that any community can use to rebuild local resilience and self-reliance by raising awareness about the critical issues involved, forming working groups to focus on issues of food, energy, and economy, creating visible practical manifestations of Transition, and working towards the creation of an Energy Descent Action Plan for that community.
